Bladena provides structural enhancement technologies for retrofit and new design, which provide for lighter and stronger blades with higher durability. Bladena’s technologies are available as a toolbox that addresses the root causes of individual problem areas in the blade design and manufacturing. They are flexible in their design and each manufacturer may develop their preferred way of implementation to accommodate individual requirements.

Bladena’s Technology Platform originates from more than 10 years of research and development work at DTU-Risø in Denmark. Amongst others, this work formed the basis for 7 patents, which were taken over by Bladena, when it was launched as a spin-off from DTU in December 2011.
